About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete a 12-month Talent Development Program in the Aggregates division
- Rotate through Mine Planning, Process Improvements, Quality and Reliability, Production, Maintenance, and Data Management
- Participate in project-based learning and collaborate and network with participants across business lines
- Receive training in safety protocols and help ensure safety standards are met or exceeded
- Develop technical, transferable, and leadership skills through hands-on work, training, and mentorship
- Build relationships with peers, mentors, and company leaders
- Contribute innovative ideas and continuous-improvement initiatives to Aggregate operations
- Gain exposure to Aggregates, Cement, Ready-Mix/Concrete, and Supply Chain operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Recent bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Geology, or a related field
- GPA of 2.5 or above; GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
- Proficiency in analytical and presentation skills
- Previous experience through internships, co-op programs, or university projects
- Willingness to relocate within the U.S. if needed
- Full-time availability for a 40-hour work week
- Ability to work on-site in office and field environments
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying environmental conditions
