About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete a 12-month Talent Development Program in Cemex USA’s Ready-Mix division
  • Rotate through Safety, Plant Management & Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance, Quality Control & Project Coordination, Customer Service/Sales, Dispatch, Environmental, and Human Resources
  • Receive training in safety protocols and help ensure safety standards are met or exceeded
  • Participate in project-based learning across Aggregates, Cement, Ready-Mix/Concrete, and Supply Chain business lines
  • Contribute to real operational projects
  • Develop technical, transferable, and leadership skills through hands-on work, training, and mentorship
  • Build relationships with peers, mentors, and company leaders
  • Bring innovative ideas and contribute to continuous improvement in Ready-Mix operations
  • Work in a mix of office and field environments with varying environmental conditions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Recent bachelor’s degree in Concrete Industry Management (CIM), Construction Science Management/Construction Management, Business Administration/Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; open to more degrees
  • GPA of 2.5 or above; GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Leadership qualities and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
  • Analytical and presentation skills
  • Previous experience through internships, co-op programs, or university projects is valued
  • Willingness to relocate within the U.S. if needed
  • Full-time availability
  • Willingness to travel based on rotation requirements
