About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Update contract pricing and membership information in the contract management database system
- Maintain assigned supplier contract files and supplier relationships
- Act as key contact for assigned suppliers and support invoice discrepancy resolution
- Establish and maintain contract documentation files
- Validate contract maintenance reports and update the contract management database system
- Maintain exception reports and analyze pricing and membership information
- Analyze contract discrepancies, identify root causes, and determine appropriate resolutions
- Coordinate resolution of complex issues with internal departments and supplier representatives
- Support EDI technology projects for assigned suppliers
- Support management initiatives and process improvement efforts
- Work with distribution centers to troubleshoot contract discrepancies and update membership and pricing information
- Receive, identify, and resolve discrepancies related to assigned supplier contracts
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Working knowledge of contracts administration
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data/situations quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through difficult tasks
- Ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Capable of making sound decisions to achieve goals
- Resourcefulness in pursuing or recommending new ideas and/or procedures
- Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocation
- Minimum of two to three years of related experience
