About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take incoming calls
- Take and complete client and pharmacy orders
- Answer client inquiries courteously and professionally
- Process orders received via fax, email, and phone daily
- Provide order confirmation when requested
- Process pick tickets through the ERP system and select the appropriate carrier
- Communicate with external and internal customers
- Follow all procedures and work instructions
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding customer and product issues, including backorders, emergency shipments, account status, invoices, shipment discrepancies, returns, credits, and debits
- Maintain accurate backorder information
- Answer customer and client questions and complaints regarding shipments and services
- Escalate issues as required
- Set up customer accounts and maintain customer files
- Suggest improvements to customer service operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline
- 0–2 years' experience in a customer service role
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
- High level of attention to detail
- Proactive customer focus
- Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter; efficient and organized
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality work under pressure and in a timely fashion
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer
- Strong proficiency in order entry systems
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Mandatory ability to communicate clearly in English
