About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of generic pharmaceutical products
- Analyze generic market trends to support Cencora’s formulary generics business strategy
- Conduct margin analysis, analyze competitive data, and provide insights on recommended actions
- Conduct in-depth item-level pricing analysis for formulary generics contracts
- Analyze monthly industry trends and recommend customer- and product-level pricing actions
- Report on plan and finance goals and assess profitability impact
- Conduct and analyze customer price comparisons using standardized reporting tools
- Prepare presentations using multiple data sources
- Generate month-end, ad hoc, rebate, and administration reports using multiple systems and consolidated data
- Document processes and procedures related to primary duties
- Conduct, interpret, and report leakage analysis at customer, chain, and channel levels
- Support Finance and Commercial teams through prospective customer evaluations and strategic pricing analyses
- Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
- 2+ years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial modeling, management reporting, or a related field required
- Preferred previous internship or co-op experience in Finance, Business, or Pricing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of general accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail, with a high standard for accuracy
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
