About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and develop the Finance Data Analytics function
- Drive cross-functional performance and achieve strategic objectives
- Lead one-year sub-function plans and deliver integrated quarterly outcomes
- Manage the finance analytics roadmap and quarterly delivery plans
- Lead complex, highly visible finance analytics initiatives
- Oversee data readiness, governance alignment, solution requirements, documentation, testing, and continuity practices
- Direct risk and issue management, change control, benefits tracking, and solution lifecycle management
- Standardize and scale finance analytics, reporting, visualization, testing, and delivery practices
- Present recommendations on analytics strategy, financial reporting, profitability capabilities, data quality, automation, and process enhancements
- Communicate dependencies, mitigations, and trade-offs to senior leaders and partners
- Set direction, allocate work, develop capabilities, provide technical leadership and coaching, and make performance and talent decisions
- Build team expertise across Azure Databricks, Microsoft Power BI, SQL, financial reporting, profitability analytics, and related finance data domains
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, including delivery at a cross-team or sub-function scale, or a related field required
- 3+ years of experience in a management capacity required
- Master’s degree in a quantitative, data, or technology discipline, or a related field, equivalent experience preferred
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent certification preferred
- Experience or capability across Azure Databricks, Microsoft Power BI, SQL, financial reporting, profitability analytics, and related finance data domains
