About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Recruit, coach, and manage Sales Representatives needed for successful sales campaigns
- Build and maintain territory plans, including identification of top targets/accounts and sales strategies
- Maintain frequent communication with Sales Representatives to grow revenue through territory plan reviews and pipeline oversight
- Ensure team members accurately and consistently maintain CRM records to track adoptions, predict customer needs, and build accurate forecasts
- Travel regularly to mentor and support team members and engage with customers
- Collaborate with the Director, Sales to establish and implement sales territories, quotas, and progress benchmarks
- Monitor key market trends and share insights with the region and leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from a four-year college or university
- 10+ years of successful consultative sales/business development experience with a proven track record
- Strong history of coaching and developing sales professionals
- Strong ability to convey ideas clearly and leadership capabilities
- Strong knowledge of the educational market and State Adoption processes
- Ability to travel regularly to mentor and support team members and engage with customers
