About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, qualify, educate, and close prospective law firm clients to grow Legalfit revenue.
  • Conduct consultative sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Meet or exceed individual revenue, new business, and activity goals.
  • Manage opportunities through discovery, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Maintain knowledge of Legalfit products and services and communicate their business value.
  • Develop working knowledge of SEO, Local SEO, AIO, GEO, AEO, LLMO, content strategy, link building, CRO, paid search, reputation management, and AI-powered search.
  • Evaluate prospects’ websites, search visibility, competitive landscape, marketing providers, and digital presence.
  • Explain digital marketing performance and strategy to attorneys and law firm professionals.
  • Conduct competitive research and tailor presentations to prospects’ markets, practice areas, objectives, and marketing strategies.
  • Understand customer business drivers, buying criteria, decision-making processes, competitive considerations, and desired outcomes.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and follow up with prospects.
  • Self-prospect and generate new opportunities.
  • Research prospective firms and decision-makers.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities based on fit, need, timing, authority, and objectives.
  • Maintain opportunities, activities, notes, forecasts, and pipeline information in the CRM.
  • Stay current on SEO, AI-powered search, digital marketing, legal technology, and legal-services trends.
  • Monitor competitors’ products, services, pricing, positioning, and sales strategies.
  • Share prospect feedback, competitive intelligence, objections, and market trends with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations leadership.
  • Report to the Sr. Director Sales, Legalfit.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role with demonstrated experience closing new business.
  • Experience selling digital marketing, SEO, SaaS, advertising, professional services, or other consultative solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts, including the ability to explain how organic search visibility contributes to lead generation and business growth.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered search experiences, generative AI platforms, AIO, GEO, AEO, and LLMO.
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate marketing and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build relationships, navigate objections, negotiate, and close sales.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, pipeline management, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple active opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Motivated by achieving and exceeding revenue goals and earning performance-based compensation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Preferred: experience selling SEO, digital marketing, websites, advertising, or marketing technology solutions.
  • Preferred: experience discussing organic search performance, keyword visibility, local search, content strategy, backlinks, technical SEO, or website conversion.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI search platforms.
  • Preferred: experience selling to attorneys, law firms, or professional services organizations.
  • Preferred: experience selling against incumbent digital marketing agencies or website providers.
  • Preferred: familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms.
  • Knowledge of the legal industry is a plus but not required.
