About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across all ledgers
  • Manage and mentor a small team of staff accountants
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant financial statements
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation
  • Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support external audits and tax filings with outside auditors and tax advisors
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting processes
  • Improve accounting workflows and systems as the company scales
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards for SaaS and subscription-based revenue

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience managing or mentoring others
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
  • Experience with modern accounting software, including NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems, Ramp, Brex, and Salesforce
  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and interest in building clean, scalable processes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain numbers clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
