About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee end-to-end India payroll processing using Fusion (HRMS) and an external service provider
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely salary disbursement
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, labor laws, company payroll policies, statutory deductions, and benefits requirements
- Maintain payroll records, employee data, timesheets, and leave tracking
- Resolve payroll-related queries, discrepancies, and employee grievances
- Collaborate with Payroll Operations on salary adjustments, new hires, exits, and compensation-related changes
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for audits, management reviews, and compliance monitoring
- Drive payroll automation and process improvements
- Develop payroll dashboards, create MIS reports, and provide analytics for decision-making
- Align payroll processes with broader HR operations and compliance needs
- Handle accounting of payroll and related benefits
- Manage payroll vendors at the operational level
- Drive process automation and digitalization
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of India payroll
Requirements
What you’ll need- CA/MBA with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Oracle
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IND AS will be an advantage
- Strong reporting and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management
- Strong communication skills and critical thinking
