About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and support high-impact technology consulting projects across multiple sectors
- Work with senior consultants and directors to shape client outcomes
- Analyse technology estates and operating model elements to identify risks, constraints and improvement opportunities
- Contribute to target-state options, principles and portfolio-level roadmaps
- Support workshops, interviews and requirements sessions
- Translate and present findings and insights to shape recommendations and next steps
- Support systems strategy engagements, requirements gathering, vendor evaluations, scoring and recommendations
- Contribute to market scans, shortlists and platform or partner evaluations
- Help build transformation plans and support mobilisation activities
- Shape integration, data and reporting needs with SMEs
- Contribute to technology due diligence and M&A separation and integration plans
- Produce structured analysis and reporting in fast-paced deal environments
- Plan work, manage tasks and maintain quality with senior consultants and Engagement Managers
- Coordinate with wider project teams and collaborate across disciplines
- Contribute to proposals, research, credentials and methodologies
- Participate in practice initiatives, knowledge-sharing sessions and internal communities
- Build client stakeholder relationships and represent the firm professionally
Requirements
What you’ll need- Practical technology experience in a relevant environment
- Experience in technology consulting, IT operations or a similar professional setting
- Ability to communicate technical concepts simply and effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Exposure to IT strategy, digital transformation or M&A technology engagements
- Understanding of systems architecture, cloud platforms or cybersecurity
- Experience with data analysis or scripting, e.g. SQL or Python
- A degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline is strongly preferred
