About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure product quality by driving team growth and sharing best practices and technical knowledge
- Define application architecture
- Participate in code reviews and respond to feedback on maintainability, performance, security, and coding standards
- Design, develop, test, and maintain solution components
- Design and develop web interfaces and dashboards
- Build front-end applications and integrate REST APIs, backend services, data-processing functions, and event-driven workflows
- Develop integrations with a variety of data sources
- Support the ingestion, normalization, validation, storage, and retrieval of telemetry and diagnostic information
- Implement logging, metrics, distributed tracing, error handling, and health checks
- Implement automated unit, integration, API, and regression tests
- Support CI/CD pipelines, container deployments, configuration management, and troubleshooting in cloud environments
- Assist with the integration of AI services through governed APIs and standardized interface contracts
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC)
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives
- Investigate defects and operational issues using logs, metrics, traces, and platform evidence
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and blockers, communicating them to leadership and the delivery team
- Facilitate the execution of the software development process and contribute to activity planning
- Serve as a technical reference and share knowledge with the team
- Promote overall software quality in partnership with other project roles
- Anticipate and flag issues that could jeopardize deadlines
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, engineers, data specialists, testers, and operations teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Approximately 7 or more years of proven software development experience
- Advanced English proficiency for daily communication
- Experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, or Cloud SQL
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar cloud-native technologies
- Familiarity with object-oriented and event-driven architecture, software design, and architectural patterns
- Familiarity with asynchronous processing and data pipelines
- Familiarity with relational databases, data modeling, and data science
- Experience with platform observability, including logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerting systems
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and equivalent observability tools
- Familiarity with OpenAPI or Swagger
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, RBAC, and secure coding practices
- Experience integrating AI or machine-learning services through APIs
- Experience with prompt management, AI response validation, confidence scoring, or human feedback capture
- Experience with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies
- Advanced English proficiency
