About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Software Architecture specification and supervise design for the advanced Software Toolchain handling Neural Processing Unit operation
Collaborate with Product, Architecture, VLSI and Software teams to promote software leadership across markets and compute SoCs
Translate neural network and AI application requirements into software architecture flows covering hardware, software, tools and other components
Evaluate architecture proposals and internal and external IP features
Align hardware and software stakeholders around a common architecture and technology development vision
Represent Ceva in customer meetings and incorporate customer feedback
Provide technical guidance to accelerate development teams and anticipate future challenges
Conduct experiments and drive development of simulators, models, profilers and other supporting tools
Engage with engineering leadership and product planning stakeholders to develop the technology roadmap

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.Sc in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
5+ years of experience as SW Architect
8+ years of experience as SW developer
Proficiency in Python and C++
Proven track record in Software Architecture development, maintenance and improvement over embedded processors in AI and vision domains
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Collaborative and influential across organizations
Proven ability to advance initiatives effectively in ambiguous and dynamic environments
Ability to work and operate in a highly dynamic environment
Advantage: Experience in implementing embedded SW over SoCs /DSPs/NPUs
Advantage: Experience in Linux Kernel and drivers’ development
Advantage: Familiarity with runtime frameworks such as ExecuTorch, MLIR iree, Onnx runtime
