About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own a portfolio of connected projects improving how BambooHR serves customers
Support customer retention, service efficiency, and AI-enabled customer experiences
Partner with CX leadership and cross-business teams to define success, prioritize work, and deliver measurable results
Lead projects as a senior individual contributor with no direct reports
Support project managers within the portfolio and coach teammates
Turn ambiguous business needs into program goals, practical plans, and shared accountability
Define baselines, leading indicators, and outcome measures
Identify and prioritize opportunities; sequence projects around capacity, dependencies, and expected impact
Make tradeoff decisions and escalate decisions requiring leadership input
Lead programs from discovery and testing through implementation, adoption, and measurement
Build alignment, resolve blockers, and manage cross-team dependencies, resourcing, and sequencing risks
Provide senior leaders with updates on results, risks, tradeoffs, and decisions, supported by data
Adjust direction based on evidence, including pausing or stopping work when appropriate
Lead structured change management across multiple teams, including stakeholder analysis, communication, training, and reinforcement
Use AI to improve program delivery and customer-facing processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience owning complex, cross-functional programs or initiatives from problem definition through delivery, with measurable business results
Ability to create and improve workable plans amid ambiguity
Strong stakeholder relationships and ability to influence decisions, resolve competing priorities, and drive progress without direct authority
Clear written and verbal communication, including advising senior leaders on priorities, risks, and tradeoffs
Experience defining KPIs, interpreting data, and using evidence to prioritize work and evaluate outcomes
Experience guiding teams through organizational or process change
Practical experience using AI in work, with examples of improved thinking, execution, or process design
Experience improving customer retention, service delivery, operational efficiency, or digital customer experiences is a plus
Experience in SaaS, HR, payroll, operations, consulting, technical program management, or PMO is a plus
Experience redesigning workflows around AI and coaching project managers is a plus
Must pass a background and credit check
Must be able to work in Utah with regular in-office days each week
