About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Map and refine the end-to-end member journey across activation, engagement, and retention
- Build and maintain multi-channel lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, phone, and print
- Translate member journey strategy into segmented, triggered, and always-on campaigns
- Optimize campaigns through gap analysis of messaging, timing, and channel mix
- Identify lead journey gaps and deploy targeted interventions
- Execute A/B tests and continuous experimentation across campaigns and channels
- Support copy, design, and QA for member-facing materials
- Own and architect HubSpot, including workflows, automations, segmentation, data hygiene, and permissions
- Build scalable campaign build and QA processes
- Partner with Data on engagement reporting and accurate cross-channel tracking
- Own SMS send operations, carrier registration, compliance, throughput, and deliverability
- Secure and manage toll-free numbers for member-facing SMS and voice
- Manage engagement operations across email, SMS, Agentic AI, print, and other vendors
- Manage third-party engagement partnerships, including freelance designers, agencies, and print vendors
- Oversee vendor scope, timelines, deliverable quality, performance, troubleshooting, invoicing, and escalations
- Document existing HubSpot journeys and vendor relationships
- Establish operating standards for campaign QA, data hygiene, and vendor management
- Architect and launch a full lifecycle journey from CRM workflow to measurable output
- Present leadership updates on engagement metrics, journey performance, and scaling roadmap
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years in lifecycle marketing, CRM/marketing operations, or member/customer engagement
- Experience building programs from scratch at an early-stage company
- Experience in Healthcare or value-based care environments strongly preferred
- Hands-on expertise architecting workflows, campaigns, integrations, and data governance from scratch
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Braze, Iterable, or Customer.io is a plus
- Experience managing external vendors or agencies, ideally including print or direct mail production
- Proven experience executing automated, multi-channel campaigns and workflows across SMS, email, direct mail, and related channels
- Working knowledge of email deliverability fundamentals, including SPF/DKIM/DMARC, list hygiene, and spam complaint management
- Familiarity with SMS compliance and deliverability requirements, including 10DLC/toll-free registration, TCPA, and opt-in/opt-out management
- Analytical approach using data to decide, troubleshoot, and measure campaign impact
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems in real time, and wear multiple hats in a fast-moving environment
- Passion for creating seamless, high-quality member experiences
- Must be able to work in the US without visa sponsorship
