About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish, structure, and lead the new Business and Territorial Development Service
  • Foster synergies among business services, local authorities, local supply chains, urban planning, farm succession and transfer, and corporate legal services
  • Develop a shared service culture
  • Manage, motivate, and lead a multidisciplinary team
  • Oversee economic performance, budget monitoring, resource optimization, and cost control
  • Develop value-generating services and new activities
  • Support improvements in the operational, budgetary, and financial performance of the Business division
  • Identify new development opportunities and contribute to the design, promotion, and marketing of services
  • Supervise the development of activities with local authorities
  • Support teams working in local sectors and short supply chains
  • Promote local agricultural production and territorial cooperation
  • Manage urban planning activities and develop expertise in land-use planning, the preservation of agricultural land, and territorial development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s to Master’s degree, with relevant professional experience
  • Proven team management experience is essential
  • Strong skills in activity management, budget management, and economic monitoring
  • Good knowledge of the agricultural sector, territorial development, or local authorities
  • Ability to unite multidisciplinary teams around common objectives
  • Business development mindset, initiative, and enthusiasm for cross-functional work
  • Rigor, autonomy, and strong organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Availability to travel throughout the department and occasionally within the region
