About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define data requirements with stakeholders and source, prepare, and validate data from multiple systems and sources
- Clean, transform, and analyse complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, root causes, and insights
- Set and uphold standards for accuracy and consistency of outputs
- Summarise findings clearly and concisely and translate analysis into actionable recommendations
- Flag risks and opportunities proactively and follow through on recommendation adoption
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams as a trusted analytical advisor
- Identify data quality, system, and process improvement opportunities
- Build business cases and drive implementation with the Business Analysis team and relevant stakeholders
- Lead rollout and adoption of new reporting, tools, and processes
- Assess and document impacts, coordinate updates to deliverables, and guide stakeholders through transitions
- Keep up with developments in data analysis methods and tools
- Champion AI tools for data preparation, analysis, reporting, documentation, and automation
- Identify and pilot new AI use cases and coach colleagues across the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role
- Proven track record of independently delivering complex, stakeholder-ready analysis that influences business decisions
- Experience in a SaaS or technology company is an advantage
- Experience in product analytics is an advantage
- Experience working with AI data products or applying AI tools in analytical workflows is an advantage
- Ability to interpret complex data accurately and translate findings into clear, business-relevant insights and recommendations
- Ability to explain analytical concepts and conclusions to non-technical and senior stakeholders without losing rigour
- Ability to maintain high standards of data quality and accuracy
- Ability to resolve complex data quality and integration issues independently
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI or a comparable BI platform
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Fluent English is required
- Valid work/residence permit for Germany or the UK
