About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver customer support through email, chat, and virtual meetings
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ChargeAfter products and provide strategic customer solutions
- Manage the ticket lifecycle from inquiry through resolution
- Act as the first point of contact for customer questions and platform issues
- Investigate issues, document findings, and communicate issues to other teams for ticket diagnosis
- Review recorded RESTful API log data to troubleshoot issues
- Use Google Cloud Platform to diagnose technical bugs and error messages
- Identify support-process improvements and suggest product improvements
- Collaborate with the team to contribute to shared goals
- Monitor platform activity across client accounts using Mixpanel, Power BI, and GCP
- Update and maintain the CRM
Requirements
What you’ll need- 0–3 years of experience in a relevant industry (Tech, eCommerce, SaaS) and/or similar role(s); current undergraduate or graduate students are acceptable
- Ability to work evening shifts up to 5pm–8pm ET and weekend shifts 9am–1pm or 1pm–5pm ET
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or gaining equivalent relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and customers
- Proficient in reading and applying knowledge from documentation and creating knowledge articles
- Interpersonal and communication skills applicable across audiences
- Preferred: experience investigating and documenting research findings
- Preferred: leadership roles involving essential problem-solving
- Preferred: experience with RESTful APIs, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Azure
- Preferred: data analysis using Excel and Google Sheets
- Preferred: exposure to ticketing systems such as Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk
- Preferred: retail or customer service experience
- Preferred: internship in technical support, customer success, or product support
