About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and track active shipments throughout weekend hours, maintaining real-time visibility and service performance
  • Communicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and operational issues
  • Update customer portals, systems, and shipment records with accurate and timely information
  • Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments and ensure customer requirements are met
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve service disruptions, delays, load recoveries, and other operational exceptions
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely solutions and follow-up
  • Prepare and distribute overnight reports, ensuring critical updates and exceptions are communicated to the daytime operations team
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics field is preferred
  • Recent college or university
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the trucking industry
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
  • Ability to function independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to function in a team environment
