About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Meet with clients upon admission and build rapport
Complete virtual biopsychosocial assessments across children, teens, young adults, and adults
Establish treatment needs and determine appropriateness for virtual intensive outpatient program level of care
Present programming information to help clients access care
Construct provisional mental health diagnoses using DSM-V criteria
Document client information in the electronic medical record according to regulatory standards
Assign treatment team members and group schedules and inform staff of new admissions
Coordinate intake with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams
Collaborate with referral sources including hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers
Cover morning, afternoon, evening, and potentially weekend shifts based on client needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Work authorized in the United States
Native or bilingual English proficiency
Access to reliable technology resources for uninterrupted, confidential, and compliant telehealth services
Independent licensure in a mental health field required
Experience working with children, teens, young adults, and adults preferred
Experience completing behavioral health assessments and admissions preferred
Independent license preferred; associate-level clinicians may work toward full licensure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality of care
Availability for required shifts: 11am–7pm MT or 12pm–8pm MT; weekends encouraged
Must complete required state background checks for clearance to see clients
