About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop new features and maintain the existing Android codebase
- Collaborate with Engineers, QA, Product Managers, and Designers in Scrum or Kanban teams
- Build robust, scalable Android solutions with high quality, performance, and observability
- Contribute to mobile CI/CD pipelines for efficient Google Play delivery
- Write test automation for high-quality, reliable releases
- Champion performance, accessibility, and user experience
- Use telemetry, analytics, performance monitoring, and A/B testing to validate ideas and measure impact
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven native Android development experience using modern Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns, separation of concerns, and scalable app design
- Proficiency in unit and UI testing with standard Android frameworks
- Practical knowledge of dependency injection and Kotlin Coroutines
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, networking libraries, and data serialization
- Ability to use telemetry, analytics, performance monitoring, and A/B testing to validate ideas and measure impact
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, including Fastlane and GitHub Actions
- Commitment to clean code and continuous learning
- Familiarity with AI tooling to support software development and problem-solving
- Ability to demonstrate the capabilities needed for the role; listed experience is a guide, not a barrier
