About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support project management of packaging-related projects to deliver within specification, time and budget
- Source new primary packaging with innovative delivery systems
- Work with Engineering and Quality on pack testing and standards
- Support CPA management for finished goods and packaging projects, including identifying and flagging risks
- Manage the primary and secondary artwork process from copy brief through finished artwork in line with CPAs
- Take secondary packaging from concept through delivery
- Coordinate with Supply Chain on purchase-order timings for new packaging developments
- Build and maintain relationships with external pack suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Monitor packaging innovation and sustainability with packaging suppliers
- Collaborate with Supply Chain & Operations, Product Development, Quality, Regulatory and Marketing
- Support technical and quality aspects of primary packaging development, primarily for colour and complexion products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Passionate about packaging and beauty
- Passionate about the artwork process with excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-driven and results-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Technically strong in packaging development
- Excellent understanding of NPD project management and CPA management
- Ability to work cross-functionally with NPD, Design, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Marketing
- 3+ years' experience and knowledge in printing technology and packaging materials within the FMCG industry
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Team player with a can-do attitude
