About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic support for EU department stores and the overarching EU visual merchandising strategy
- Lead campaign launches from global asset delivery through in-store execution, including till units, promotional sites and windows
- Support and lead new store openings and distribution, acting as flagship guardian and retailer lead
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards across the department store business-and-marketing estate
- Execute experiential and promotional projects of varying sizes and scopes with an omni-channel approach
- Manage visual merchandising budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Conduct budget management, reporting and quarterly forecasting reviews
- Manage the EU VM Assistant and foster a supportive, collaborative team environment
- Handle administration, document management, plan presentations, sign-off processes, purchase orders and budget tracking
- Collaborate with EU Marketing, PR, Global teams, regional agencies, external retailer partners, suppliers and wider EU functions
- Report directly to the VM Manager, EU
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable visual merchandising experience at Assistant Manager level in a similar role, ideally within Beauty/Retail
- Confidence in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and InDesign
- Strong people leadership skills, with ability to empower, coach and develop
- Project management experience with a commercial mindset and creative flair
- Collaboration and communication skills
- Forecasting and budget management experience
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels and influence effectively
- Organised and detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and pivot with ease
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
- Flexible and professional attitude
- Strong organisational, prioritising and attention-to-detail skills
