About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support planning, coordination, and execution of client-facing and internal firm events
  • Assist with conferences, networking events, seminars, sponsorship activations, client entertainment, holiday parties, retreats, and employee engagement activities
  • Coordinate event logistics, timelines, planning documents, project trackers, registration, RSVPs, attendee communications, venues, catering, promotional products, and travel administration
  • Coordinate sponsorship logistics, including registrations, shipping materials, promotional items, booth requirements, setup, and breakdown
  • Maintain event calendars, deadlines, sponsorship obligations, documentation, vendor information, CRM records, and marketing databases
  • Create invitations, registration communications, reminder emails, and post-event follow-up messages
  • Support social media promotion, website updates, marketing materials, post-event reports, and follow-up recommendations
  • Manage the firm's Uber account and assist with Navan travel program administration
  • Collect event performance data, track expenses, process invoices, and reconcile records
  • Travel to events as needed to provide on-site logistical and operational support
  • Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, support process improvements, and maintain event planning procedures and best practices
  • Collaborate with events, marketing, business development, attorneys, firm leadership, and external vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of event planning, business development, marketing, or related experience in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Ability to travel as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Must be near a major airport hub, preferably on the East Coast
  • Experience with Monday.com, Nexl, Canva, or similar MarTech platforms preferred but not required
  • Experience supporting events, meetings, sponsorships, or project coordination activities preferred
  • Experience working in a professional services environment
  • Legal industry experience preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
