About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys and other legal staff
  • Support three or more attorneys
  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
  • File legal documents with courts and administrative agencies electronically and manually
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic client files
  • Assist with time entry, billing, and expense reporting
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal staff
  • Conduct basic legal research and compile information as needed
  • Support case preparation, including document production, discovery, and trial preparation
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned
  • Apply communication, conflict management, professionalism, and planning and priority-setting competencies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience in a legal assistant or administrative support role preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and court systems
