About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for insurance to obtain authorizations
  • Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments, to identify target behaviors
  • Complete 3 assessments per week
  • Submit all paperwork by company deadlines
  • Complete assigned initial assessments
  • Develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment results
  • Submit high-quality initial assessments meeting insurance and company standards
  • Explain the company process and next steps to families during initial assessments
  • Review initial assessments written by other BCBAs as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of client records and personnel information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in NJ
  • Completion of BCBA supervision training
  • Ability to conduct initial assessments throughout New Jersey
  • Ability to complete 3 assessments per week
  • Ability to submit paperwork by company deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client records, personnel information, and other relevant information in accordance with HIPAA laws
