About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for insurance to obtain authorizations
  • Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments, to identify target behaviors
  • Complete 3 assessments per week
  • Submit all paperwork by deadlines specified by the Company
  • Complete initial assessments as assigned
  • Develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results
  • Submit high quality initial assessments meeting insurance and company standards
  • Explain the company process and next steps to families during the initial assessment
  • Review initial assessments written by other BCBAs, as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of information, including client records under HIPAA laws, personnel information, and other relevant issues
  • Work closely alongside families during the assessment stage

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in NJ
  • Completion of BCBA supervision training
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
