About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 60-65 corporate accounts within an assigned vertical/industry
  • Grow revenue share by positioning Choice hotels within customers’ corporate travel programs
  • Identify and secure project business and win RFPs for groups and meetings
  • Develop expertise in the assigned vertical/industry, including travel trends and buying criteria
  • Lead preferred travel program negotiations and bids for groups, events, and project RFPs
  • Develop account plans aligned with client goals and Choice’s corporate strategy
  • Conduct executive-level Quarterly Business Reviews and strategic planning sessions
  • Demonstrate business performance, pipeline opportunities, and incremental revenue strategies
  • Identify potential customers through research, networking, and lead generation channels
  • Identify key decision makers within prospective accounts to secure meetings
  • Educate potential accounts about Choice brands and product offerings
  • Convert prospects to high-performing accounts
  • Update and maintain customer information in the CRM system
  • Participate in sales, brand, product, and system training
  • Develop and document account strategies, detailed action plans, and specific activities
  • Prepare and conduct customer Quarterly Business Reviews and planning sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry
  • Demonstrable experience managing enterprise customers and prospecting for net-new accounts
  • Proficiency working in a CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Comfortable analyzing account and market data in platforms like Tableau to create actionable insights and recommendations
  • Ability to travel up to 25-50%
  • Location near a major city, within 30 miles of a major airport
  • Independent self-starter with the ability to achieve corporate business objectives
  • Comfort building and presenting customer-facing proposals
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, sales or related field preferred
