About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Train and develop franchisees on payroll system functionality, processing, reporting, and procedures
- Provide payroll system support for stores in a multi-state environment
- Respond to franchisee inquiries and provide guidance on payroll and accounting processes
- Coordinate system and database updates for new hires, terminations, healthcare deductions, and other employee changes
- Train and direct franchisees in preparing account analyses and payroll software reports
- Assist the Benefits Administrator with employee change updates
- Assist in reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Coordinate with internal departments to process intercompany payroll liabilities and reconciliations
- Facilitate account setup in the payroll system for new franchise entities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associates or Bachelor's degree and/or 3 – 5 years prior Payroll & Benefits experience
- Payroll, Payroll Tax in multi-state environment preferred
- Good understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- Familiarity with Federal, State & Local Payroll Tax filings
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Strong customer service experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Applicants must complete I-9 documentation within three days of hire and confirm authorization to work in the United States
- Must be able to occasionally bend, twist, and turn
