About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and operationalize performance improvement-related projects throughout ChristianaCare under Patient Experience leadership
  • Facilitate, analyze, and consult with support teams to redesign and improve processes, behaviors, and outcomes
  • Develop project plans and timelines and bring together resources as needed
  • Work with many functional areas throughout ChristianaCare
  • Lead project teams from design implementation to completion, ensuring goals and objectives are met
  • Research and implement innovative approaches to improving Patient Experience practices through design improvement projects and methodologies
  • Utilize data from appropriate sources to develop benchmarks and analyze data to change practice
  • Plan, develop, and maintain work consistent with department leadership and organizational goals
  • Anticipate customer needs and address them promptly and appropriately
  • Prepare and distribute meeting materials and communications before and after meetings
  • Prepare, analyze, and present detailed data and project-related information
  • Assist in developing presentations, exhibits, PowerPoint presentations, and oral or written reports
  • Perform assignments outside routine responsibilities and adapt to changing departmental conditions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Experience with health care operations
  • Proven success managing large projects using multiple project management techniques
  • Experience evaluating and implementing new technology solutions
  • Demonstrated certification and/or experience in advanced improvement science methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) indicated in the role title
