About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as a Full Time Flex Radiologic Technologist in the ChristianaCare Newark Campus Radiology Department
- Operate and troubleshoot radiographic equipment and radiology-supported computer and software systems
- Use onsite C-Arms for neuro, trauma, orthopedic, general, urology, and vascular procedures
- Operate portable X-ray machines in intra-operative, PACU, and HVIS settings
- Operate the vascular hybrid room
- Operate contrast power injectors and use different contrast media
- Perform endograft, angiography, cardiac, and trauma applications
- Set up and integrate the O-Arm with the Spine and Pelvic Stealth Navigation Console
- Recognize navigation instrumentation and understand its functions
- Support clinical training of staff and students
- Work rotating day/midnight shifts, every sixth weekend, and every third holiday as described in the posting
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years’ experience as a staff technologist
- Completion of a two-year program in Radiology Technology is required
- ARRT registered
- Delaware State License
- Proficiency in troubleshooting radiographic equipment
- Expertise with radiology-supported computer and software systems
- Knowledge of contrast media and operation of contrast power injectors
- Procedural competence with endografts, angiography, cardiac, and trauma applications
- Knowledge of Spine and Pelvic Stealth Navigation Console, including O-Arm setup and integration
- Ability to work 8:00am–4:30pm four days per week, including an average of one 11:00pm–7:00am call shift per week
- One weekend call every six weeks and 1–2 holidays per year
