About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement physician compensation programs, including complex incentive plans
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic resource to leadership on compensation programs
  • Consult with the Medical Group on compensation matters and align decisions with total rewards philosophy and business strategy
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate compensation programs, incentive plans, and related projects
  • Conduct research on industry and organization-specific issues, financial information, compensation and rewards, and corporate performance
  • Conduct market pricing activities, including peer group selection, survey analysis, salary data interpretation, financial modeling, and special research projects
  • Analyze issues, provide recommendations, and advise leadership on compensation and benefits strategies and programs
  • Coordinate compensation-related projects and initiatives, including planning, communications, configuration and data testing, and training
  • Perform sensitivity testing and analysis on provider compensation models
  • Communicate and compile data for Fair Market Value appraisers and consultants
  • Document Fair Market Value and Commercial Reasonableness reviews
  • Participate in quality reviews and review Letters of Intent for accuracy
  • Review and initiate process improvement projects
  • Oversee collection and submission of provider market survey data
  • Compile compensation reports and presentations
  • Support organizational strategies and initiatives through timely and accurate information presentation
  • Support external systems related to provider compensation modeling and payroll administration
  • Evaluate positions for salary grade placement and conduct FLSA exemption testing
  • Serve as vendor liaison regarding data analysis, interfaces, error reporting, and benefit-related communications
  • Execute base pay adjustments, develop reports, and assist with job description preparation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
  • Five years of advanced professional experience in compensation administration, including incentive plan design
  • At least two years of progressively responsible experience in physician and provider compensation
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Progress toward a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), or master's degree preferred
