About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and score approximately 1,000–2,000 Global Navigator Scholarship applications
  • Evaluate written responses, student information, and financial documentation using established rubrics and eligibility criteria
  • Review and audit financial documentation for missing information, discrepancies, or issues requiring additional review
  • Record scores, review outcomes, and required information in designated systems and tracking tools
  • Maintain consistent, objective scoring while meeting productivity, accuracy, and review deadlines
  • Participate in required training and calibration activities
  • Apply feedback to improve scoring consistency and accuracy
  • Escalate questions, documentation concerns, and situations not addressed by procedures
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of student, family, academic, financial, and scholarship information
  • Assist with administrative or operational projects within the High School Study Abroad team as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Report to the Associate Manager, Sales Operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong reading comprehension
  • Ability to objectively apply established rubrics, criteria, and procedures
  • Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to identify discrepancies, missing information, and documentation issues
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and focus during repetitive, high-volume work
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to independently manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Ability to receive and apply feedback related to accuracy, quality, and scoring consistency
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Comfort working with written, numerical, and financial information
  • Basic technical aptitude and ability to learn online application systems, databases, spreadsheets, and other technology-based tools
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills preferred
  • Previous experience in application review, assessment, grading, auditing, quality assurance, education, administration, financial aid, or related work preferred but not required
  • Experience reviewing scholarship, admissions, academic, grant, or similar applications is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Availability to work full or part-time during the designated scholarship review period
  • Background check, education verification, and employment verification required as conditions of employment

  • Full-time hourly position offering up to 40 hours per week
  • Consistent 37.5 paid hours per week
  • Employees will not be scheduled to work on CIEE-observed holidays
  • Flexible Friday shift options: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
  • All shifts based on the employee’s local time zone
