About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support access to Epic tools for regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, patient experience, staff satisfaction, and revenue capture
- Configure, integrate, and implement informatics solutions for revenue cycle operations
- Perform production support, system updates, and maintenance under guidance and supervision
- Support administration of Epic Billing tools and provide technical support
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and communicate issues and roadblocks to the supervisor
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in design and leadership meetings
- Consult with end users regarding clinical applications, training programs, and materials
- Serve as a resource for application projects and enhancements
- Scope and estimate work effort for small projects and communicate status
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, escalate unresolved problems, and support user training
- Create and curate education and training materials
- Participate in on-call support rotation
- Interact with staff throughout the Medical Center and provide timely customer follow-up
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- No experience required
- Direct experience within the revenue cycle environment preferred
- Proficiency in working with Epic Information Systems, including implementation and maintenance preferred
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to revenue cycle operations preferred
- Ability to analyze revenue cycle data trends preferred
- Experience collaborating with revenue cycle operations leadership preferred
- Ability to effectively navigate a complex healthcare environment preferred
