About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own project governance, planning and reporting for a major 400MW+ onshore wind and BESS project in Queensland through construction and COD
  • Act as the Project CEO’s PMO focal point and coordinate across workstreams
  • Provide current, decision-ready information on programme, risks, opportunities, actions, interfaces and governance status
  • Implement CIPTT’s project management standards, delivery model, governance, stage gates and execution requirements
  • Establish and maintain PMO tools and coordinate the project reporting cycle
  • Compile contractor reports for SteerCo, lenders and other counterparties
  • Own governance forums, decision coordination and monthly SteerCo reporting materials
  • Coordinate governance across the multi-party delivery model, including agendas, papers, minutes and action logs
  • Coordinate reporting systems and dashboards covering schedule, cost, risk, progress, commercial and decision data
  • Align IPMT weekly and monthly reporting with owner SteerCo and Board reporting
  • Own owner-side oversight of the integrated master schedule and integrate contractor schedules, milestones, baseline changes and dependencies
  • Review progress measurement, critical path, schedule float, forecast completion dates, delay scenarios and recovery options
  • Track contractual milestones and coordinate visibility of delay events, extensions of time and claims
  • Coordinate cost, schedule, risk, commercial and contract-management project controls
  • Manage decision, approval, action, risk, opportunity, issue and escalation tracking
  • Establish working relationships with IPMT schedulers, project controls and reporting specialists
  • Support transition of project management responsibilities between delivery partners, including baseline handover, document control and reporting continuity
  • Work primarily office-based with periodic site visits and regular travel between offices as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant degree or similar
  • Minimum of 8 years of full-time experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar PMO, project controls or project services role with comparable responsibilities on complex infrastructure projects
  • Renewable energy experience viewed positively
  • Deep understanding of project delivery, governance, planning and control processes
  • Familiarity with integrated project delivery models and baseline management, including scope, schedule, risk and change control
  • Detail-oriented with a structured and methodical working style
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Skilled in facilitating collaboration and problem-solving across multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficient in navigating technical, commercial and financial information
  • Experience managing reporting systems, documentation and interface coordination
  • PMI certification or equivalent formal project management training viewed positively
