About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain carwash equipment, carwash POS systems, and building through preventive maintenance and repair work
Diagnose, repair, and maintain carwash equipment, electrical systems, plumbing systems, water heaters, and electronic systems
Repair carwash building doors and perform minor painting, imaging, and decaling equipment maintenance
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams
Operate computer keyboard and mouse for data entry
Work in confined spaces, contorted positions, and mostly outdoors
Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED preferred
One year related experience
Must be able to communicate in English, orally and written
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic functions
Must have valid driver’s license with no major offenses
Must be able to understand basic blueprints, electrical schematics, installation and service manuals
Requires use of basic hand tools, power tools, and electrical measurement instruments
Acetylene cutting and arc welding skills preferred
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Must have color vision and depth perception
Must be able to work safely on moving machinery and electrically energized machinery
Ability to occasionally lift up to 100+ pounds
