About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage all aspects of People, Operations, and Financial performance for a restaurant district
  • Lead and develop a team of 10-14 Restaurant Managers
  • Develop strategies for traffic, check, and overall revenue growth
  • Coach Restaurant Managers to implement local store marketing strategies and participate in community activities
  • Empower teams to resolve guest issues
  • Recruit, interview, select, hire, and onboard Restaurant Managers and Restaurant Management Trainees
  • Conduct second-level interviews for Assistant General Manager candidates
  • Train and coach Restaurant Managers and Restaurant Management Trainees
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide recognition through Workday
  • Implement progressive discipline for performance deficiencies or policy or regulatory violations
  • Engage in personal development and inspire team development
  • Cascade Brand and Company information and communicate with the Restaurant Operations Director
  • Operate restaurants according to Brand and Company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure safe environments by following laws and safety codes and report facility issues
  • Complete incident reports according to the 5-minute rule policy
  • Ensure product quality, food safety, cleanliness, general safety, and operational standards
  • Conduct Quick Visits, Cash Audits, and Inventory Audits
  • Own people, operational, and financial metrics to deliver profitable restaurants
  • Track business-environment changes and create competitive marketplace plans
  • Monitor and analyze restaurant financial performance and create improvement action plans with Restaurant Managers
  • Conduct root-cause analyses and implement effective solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3-5 years restaurant multi-unit management experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Valid state Driver’s License required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Serv Safe© Manager and Proctor certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Motivates, coaches, and leads their team
  • Acts with integrity; keeps commitments

  • Highly organized, ability to juggle multiple initiatives, plan, prioritize work
  • Team player who can work well with others or independently
  • Work includes long hours, weekends, holidays, travel, and some overnight stays
  • Frequently bend, twist at waist, kneel, squat, stand, and walk
  • Occasionally climb and descend ladders
  • Tolerate extreme cold and hot temperatures and work in and around fryers, ovens, grills, coolers, freezers, sharp objects, and loud noises
  • Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift, including reaching for objects overhead
  • Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 50+ lb. occasionally, including lifting from ground to overhead
