About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Travel daily to Circle K stores in Birmingham, Alabama and surrounding assigned areas using own vehicle
- Conduct physical counts of store merchandise using a handheld computer/scanner
- Review audit results with Store Managers
- Communicate audit results and observations to the Audit Supervisor and Operations Management
- Verify merchandise and cash in Circle K stores
- Notify Store Managers of incorrect prices and remove out-of-code merchandise
- Count and verify cash assets on site
- Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory, and bank deposits
- Verify gasoline inventory
- Conduct surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures
- Follow safety procedures, rules, and regulations
- Accomplish related results as needed through team contribution
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year of inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment
- Valid driver’s license with no major offenses
- Current liability car insurance
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
- Ability to travel daily to stores within assigned areas using own vehicle
- Ability to use a handheld scanner/computer for physical inventory counts
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs
- Ability to sit, talk, hear, handle or grasp items, stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
