About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain equipment through troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and preventive maintenance
- Facilitate repairs as required
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Test new equipment as directed
- Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Use email and Circle K computer-related forms
- Participate in training for existing and new equipment
- Accomplish related results and Financial and Key Result Area targets under Company plan guidelines
- Increase professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional societies
- Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision
- Support multiple locations between Mt. Vernon and Carbondale, Illinois
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
- 3-5 years’ experience of maintenance construction field or more preferred
- Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment and work in confined spaces
- Able to use power and hand tools
- Required crouching and/or crawling and ability to use a ladder
- Experience in telecommunications is preferred but not required
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities
- Ability to work independently in a high priority, confidential, demanding business environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable as a driver
- Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Able to sit for long periods, operate a computer keyboard and mouse, view a monitor, hear and speak via telephone, and reach forward and/or overhead
- Occasionally able to lift up to 80 pounds
