About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain equipment through troubleshooting, repair, cleaning, preventive maintenance, and facilitating repairs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Test new equipment as directed.
  • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams.
  • Use email and Circle K computer-related forms.
  • Participate in training for existing and new equipment.
  • Contribute to team effort and achieve Financial and Key Result Area targets according to company plan guidelines.
  • Increase professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional societies.
  • Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
  • 3-5 years’ experience of maintenance construction field or more preferred.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use power and hand tools, crouch and/or crawl, and use a ladder.
  • Experience in telecommunications is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and work independently in a high priority, confidential, demanding business environment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable as a driver.
  • Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Able to sit for long periods, operate a computer keyboard and mouse, view a computer monitor, hear and speak via telephone, reach forward and/or overhead, and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
