About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Troubleshoot, repair, clean, and maintain equipment
- Provide preventive maintenance and facilitate repairs as required
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Test new equipment as directed
- Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Use email and computer-related Circle K forms
- Participate in training for existing and new equipment
- Contribute to team effort and achieve Financial and Key Result Area targets under Company plan guidelines
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies
- Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
- 3–5 years’ experience in the maintenance construction field or more preferred
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment and work in confined spaces
- Ability to use power and hand tools
- Ability to crouch and/or crawl and use a ladder
- Experience in telecommunications preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities
- Ability to work independently in a high-priority, confidential, demanding business environment
- Valid driver’s license and insurability as a driver
- Computer literacy in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to sit for long periods, operate a computer keyboard and mouse, view a monitor, hear and speak via telephone, reach forward and/or overhead, and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
