About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and clean equipment
- Provide preventive maintenance and facilitate repairs as required
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Test new equipment as directed
- Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Use email and Circle K computer-related forms
- Participate in training for existing and new equipment
- Accomplish related team, financial, and key-result-area targets according to company plan guidelines
- Work across multiple locations between Mt. Vernon and Carbondale, Illinois
- Work with minimum direction and periodic supervision
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED; other combinations of experience and education meeting minimum requirements may be substituted
- 3–5 years’ experience in the maintenance construction field or more preferred
- Manual dexterity to operate equipment and work in confined spaces
- Ability to use power and hand tools
- Ability to crouch and/or crawl and use a ladder
- Telecommunications experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities
- Ability to work independently in a high-priority, confidential, demanding business environment
- Valid driver’s license and insurability as a driver
- Computer literacy in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
