  • Recruit, hire, and train positive, enthusiastic employees
  • Develop, manage, and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized, and well maintained according to company standards
  • Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors
  • Schedule employees within company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image
  • Apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separating employees
  • Develop positive professional relationships with suppliers
  • Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally

  • Evaluate site needs and develop action plans to achieve objectives

  • Ensure merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed, and correctly priced
  • Ensure employment-related posters and signs are accessible to employees
  • Analyze daily sales and expenses and take action to maximize sales and net profits
  • Budget and forecast P&L lines and manage merchandise margins
  • Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed
  • Perform financial analysis necessary to maximize sales and net profits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in retail sales preferred
  • Experience to perform the essential duties, responsibilities, and work in the described conditions
  • Ability to supervise and train employees in the use of equipment, tools, and materials listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions
  • Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions
  • Ability to use a computer, or acquire necessary computer skills, including analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, and counseling notices
  • Valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English
  • Flexible availability
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including cleaning parking lots and gas pumps, and taking out garbage
  • Ability to work in occasional cold temperature extremes, including walk-in coolers/freezers
  • Ability to work in occasional noise
  • Ability to work as an effective manager, supervisor, and leader
