About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Recruit, hire, and train positive, enthusiastic employees to ensure excellent customer service
Develop, manage, and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized, and maintained to Company standards
Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors
Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain the site image
Apply non-discriminatory management practices when hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separating employees
Build positive professional relationships with suppliers
Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
Promote and ensure a safe, positive public image in the neighboring community
Prepare timely written performance appraisals and provide performance feedback
Train employees on customer service, site image, marketing execution, and safety procedures
Ensure timely communication through employee meetings and communication processes
Establish ongoing communication meetings with site employees and the Market Manager
Evaluate site needs and develop action plans to achieve objectives
Organize and maintain site files and manuals
Ensure required reports are completed accurately and on time
Ensure merchandise is stocked, attractively displayed, and correctly priced
Ensure required employment posters and signs are accessible to employees
Analyze daily sales and expenses and take action to maximize sales and net profits
Budget and forecast P&L lines and manage merchandise margins
Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed
Perform financial analysis necessary to maximize sales and net profits

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience in retail sales preferred
Experience performing the essential duties, responsibilities, and working conditions described
Ability to supervise and train employees in the use of equipment, tools, and materials listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions
Ability to supervise and manage CSR and ASM functions
Computer proficiency or ability to acquire computer skills for report analysis, inventory control, cash control, and counseling notices
Valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to/from the bank and corporate management meetings
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English
Flexible availability for days, evenings, overnights, and weekends
Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including cleaning parking lots and gas pumps and taking out garbage
Ability to work in occasional cold temperature extremes, including walk-in coolers/freezers
Ability to work with occasional noise and minimal direction or supervision
