About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive end-to-end sales strategy for Cisco’s Internet Infrastructure portfolio across Enterprise, Commercial, and Service Provider accounts
- Lead complex, multi-million-dollar opportunities from technical discovery through executive presentation and final closure
- Orchestrate virtual teams and partner with systems engineering on Proofs of Concept and network design validations
- Manage a multi-quarter Salesforce pipeline for accurate forecasting and high deal velocity
- Build strategic relationships with tier-1 Channel Partners
- Expand market reach and accelerate adoption of next-generation routing and optical technologies
- Generate proactive sales pipelines using install-base data, LDOS timelines, and bandwidth demand trends
- Lead cross-functional virtual teams across Sales, CX, Product Managers, and Finance
- Present architectural ROI and business impact to C-level stakeholders
- Convert competitive accounts by communicating Cisco’s silicon and routing advantages over Arista, Ciena, and Juniper
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of success in quota-carrying technology sales
- Record of exceeding goals in high-end routing or optical infrastructure
- 8+ years of technical fluency in service provider/enterprise routing architectures
- Experience with Cisco 8000, NCS 5500/5700, and ASR 9000 platforms
- Experience closing complex, multi-million-dollar infrastructure opportunities involving large Bills of Materials and multi-year capital refresh projects
- Experience with IP-over-DWDM
- Experience with Segment Routing (SRv6/SR-MPLS)
- Experience with 100G/400G/800G high-speed optics
- Proficiency structuring Enterprise Agreements (EAs)
- Proficiency navigating CAPEX/OPEX financial models
- Bachelor’s degree listed as a preferred qualification
