About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the overall services strategy and support teams as the chief customer outcomes and services strategist
  • Drive incremental services growth through coordination with the Account Team
  • Develop opportunities and drive them to closure to grow Recurring Revenue business
  • Ensure customers have appropriate support coverage and professional services aligned with expected outcomes
  • Engage specialist teams to enhance the sales process and partner with Customer Success to increase services adoption
  • Identify and manage opportunities across new and existing customers and markets
  • Build and sustain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Create demand for new services aligned with customer outcomes and business needs
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional solutions during new and renewal pursuits
  • Conduct data analysis to uncover opportunities and derive forecasts
  • Set weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales commitments
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes
  • Focus on new and renewal upsell of Premium Services, Buying Program insertion, Point of Sale, and Uncovered Product Attach
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Teams, CX product management, renewals, global services sales, architecture, portfolio AEs, and other functions
  • Develop strategies and initiatives to improve customer engagement, communication, accountability, service uptake, forecasting precision, process optimization, and team effectiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years managing end-to-end deal cycles of moderate to high complexity independently
  • 5+ years developing and executing account plans for Enterprise Accounts
  • Experience identifying business priorities, buying centers, whitespace, competitive landscape, and expansion opportunities
  • Experience partnering with Sales Engineers, Customer Success, Marketing, Partners/Alliances, Professional Services, and executive leadership
  • 5+ years maintaining CRM opportunity data, next steps, close dates, deal values, stage progression, and forecast categories
  • Ability to forecast quarterly revenue within an established sales methodology and cadence
  • Experience meeting sales targets across new business and existing customers within an assigned territory
  • Ability to tailor engagement strategies to Champions, Decision Criteria, and Economic Buyers
  • Ability to connect Cisco’s portfolio to enterprise-wide Decision Criteria
  • Experience or ability to use data analysis to identify opportunities, buying propensity, service availability, and unattached products
  • Ability to work with account, CX product management, renewals, global services sales, architecture, and portfolio AE teams
