About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support customer migration strategy from acquisition due diligence through execution
  • Review legacy customer contracts, commercial terms, pricing structures, renewal models, and termination provisions
  • Analyze customer purchasing methods and reconcile contractual information with booking and revenue data
  • Identify risks, dependencies, opportunities, edge cases, and operational challenges
  • Help define migration strategies transitioning customers from legacy business models to Cisco’s pricing, systems, and quote-to-cash processes
  • Support program plans, track milestones, and facilitate recurring team meetings
  • Proactively identify blockers and competing priorities
  • Escalate key decisions requiring leadership attention
  • Collaborate with Legal, Customer Experience, Sales, Business Unit leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Help transition acquired customers to Cisco products, pricing, contracts, and operational processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA degree
  • 0–3 years of professional experience, including internships, rotational programs, or early-career roles in business operations, consulting, finance, or related fields
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to learn new systems, business processes, and technical concepts quickly
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Preference for candidates local to the San Jose, Raleigh or Atlanta office, able to be onsite one day a week
  • Preferred: curiosity and enthusiasm for mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, customer operations, or revenue processes
  • Preferred: experience applying AI, automation, and emerging technologies to business processes
  • Preferred: experience working collaboratively across multiple functions
  • Preferred: comfort analyzing data and synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations
  • Preferred: strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
