About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the AI Account Executive as the technical authority for AI Factory infrastructure solutions
- Lead customers from AI use case ideation through full-scale implementation
- Align Cisco’s AI stack with ISV and industry partners
- Architect robust, scalable, and secure environments for complex AI workloads
- Design, implement, and drive Proof of Value projects
- Validate solution performance and business outcomes in customer environments
- Collaborate with internal product engineering to influence the product roadmap
- Represent Cisco at industry events as a leader in secure, intelligent AI infrastructure
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or solution architecture within AI, data center, or cloud infrastructure equipment vendors
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security frameworks, and API-driven automation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executive and technical audiences
- Demonstrated experience driving technical sales engagements and managing complex deal cycles
- Preferred: Direct experience with AI/ML infrastructure architecture and protocols, network fabric and software runtime
- Preferred: Experience in AI application and Agentic development
- Preferred: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), service orchestration
- Preferred: Expertise in cybersecurity and infrastructure observability
