About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive transformation of current and future network architecture for customers
  • Work directly with customers and gain experience and exposure into their networks
  • Collaborate on projects impacting veterans and military service members
  • Work on network infrastructures
  • Deliver business and technology solutions involving data, security, mobility, and cloud
  • Lead, influence, and guide teams through design, deployment, analysis, and resolution of complex network issues
  • Deliver Cisco standard methodologies within customer infrastructure
  • Serve as a liaison between Cisco Engineering and customers
  • Advocate for customer innovation and communicate upcoming Cisco technology to customers
  • Provide high-level crisis management with customers and partners
  • Travel locally up to 10% as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee
  • Must be able to perform work on U.S. Government classified environments on U.S. soil
  • Must possess a current U.S. Government DoD TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Security Clearance
  • Must live within commuting distance of the Washington, DC and Herndon, VA area
  • Must be able to work onsite 4 days per week
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in Cisco networking
  • Experience across Enterprise Networking, Security, or Data Center
  • CCNP-level experience with Cisco Enterprise Network Routing and Switching platforms
  • Security+ certification
  • Ability to lead, articulate a vision, influence, and guide teams in dynamic strategic environments
  • Ability to design, deploy, analyze, and resolve complex network issues
  • Preferred: experience delivering Cisco standard methodologies within customer infrastructure
  • Preferred: ability to lead or guide Cisco, Customer, and Partner teams
  • Preferred: strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred: ability to provide high-level crisis management
  • Preferred: capacity to articulate a vision that inspires change
