About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive transformation of current and future network architecture for customers
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Cisco customers and gain direct exposure to their networks
- Collaborate on projects impacting veterans and military service members
- Work on network infrastructures and deliver business and technology solutions across data, security, mobility, and cloud
- Lead or guide Cisco, customer, and partner teams in analyzing and resolving complex network problems
- Design, deploy, analyze, and resolve complex network issues
- Deliver Cisco standard methodologies within customer infrastructures
- Anticipate and resolve issues, problems, or events through high-level crisis management
- Collaborate with Cisco Engineering to advocate for customer innovation
- Act as a liaison to share emerging Cisco technology with customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee
- Must be able to perform the work on U.S. soil
- Current U.S. Government DoD TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI Eligibility security clearance required
- Must live within commuting distance of and work onsite 4 days a week at Ft. Meade, Maryland
- Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in Cisco networking, combining Enterprise Networking and/or Service Provider experience
- CCNP-level experience with Cisco Enterprise Networking and Service Provider technologies
- Experience designing, deploying, analyzing, and resolving complex network issues
- Ability to lead, articulate a vision, influence, and guide teams in dynamic strategic environments
- Ability to lead or guide Cisco, customer, and partner teams in analyzing and resolving complex network problems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience delivering Cisco standard methodologies within customer infrastructure
- Ability to provide high-level crisis management and actively resolve issues with customers and partners
- Service provider networking experience focused on MPLS, BGP, Segment Routing, SRv6, IOS-XR, ASR 9000, and NCS/IOS XR
